Help for Uploading a Photo

4nannies.com STRONGLY encourages you to upload a current photo with your record. Families are already nervous about hiring a nanny over the Internet, they feel much more comfortable if they know something about how you look - it personalizes your application. And families, the nannies also like to see your family, home, etc. so they can visualize their work environment too. If you only have a group shot, indicate in your comments who is who. For example, I am the girl in the red shirt, or our son is the one with the cowboy hat.

Photos are accepted in JPG format with a file size of 30K or less. Virtually all scanning and photo editing packages allow you to save an image in JPG, and most allow cropping a picture (extracting a smaller part of the picture, your image for example and not the house behind you or the people with you) and/or resizing a picture (try to keep width to no more than 200 pixels and you shouldn't have size problems).

Don't know how? Mail us your photo and we will post. Be sure to include your name, email address and Nanny/Family ID number on the back of the photo. We regret we cannot return photos submitted.
