About the FamilyFolder
The 4nannies.com FamilyFolder is your contact management tool for your nanny recruitment process.
We utilize several icons in the FamilyFolder to facilitate the management of your contacts.

Nanny candidates are added to the FamilyFolder in three ways:
- You contact the nanny via the RESPOND feature in the online nanny candidate profiles. When you utilize the RESPOND feature, the nanny is sent an email indicating that you are interested in talking to her about your job. The email includes a link back to your family's position description. The nanny also receives whatever message you typed into the Send Message box. Simultaneously the nanny is added to your FamilyFolder.
- A nanny may respond to your online advertisement using a similar RESPOND feature. You will get an email indicating her interest, and she is added to your FamilyFolder. These nanny candidates are differentiated by the
icon.
- Occasionally a family or nanny may initiate contact via a telephone call. To track these contacts, from your FamilyFolder simply add the nanny to your list by typing her 4nannies.com ID number into the box provided.
The FamilyFolder does more than just track ID numbers. You can use the FamilyFolder to:
- Keep Notes on this Nanny Candidate. Simply click on the
add a comment link to add and edit notes. Upon submittal they will appear under the nanny candidate particulars in the FamilyFolder.
- View Nanny Registration. With just a single click on the
view resume detail link you can see all of the online information the candidate has provided.
- Email the Nanny Candidate. Just click on the Send a message to..." link to send follow-up correspondence. You may choose from some prepared responses or enter your own message. The correspondence is sent and logged into your FamilyFolder.
- Hide Nanny Listing. Candidates that don't pass muster and are no longer under consideration can be easily removed from your folder. Simply click on the box to the left of the Resume ID and click the Submit button at the bottom of the pages. Changes are only effective when the Submit button has been clicked.
- Register a Complaint. While most 4nannies.com nanny applicants keep their information current, a family will occasionally find a candidate who does not respond to e-mail or phone inquiries, or even fails to show up for an interview. We cannot control whether or not a nanny responds to your inquiry. 4nannies.com has created this reporting system to monitor nanny responsiveness. With just a single click on the
register complaint link you can notify 4nannies.com of a candidate problem. We will either send an e-mail to encourage her to either respond more quickly or to deactivate the nanny membership at our discretion. A nanny who fails to respond to three families is permanently removed from our registry. In your FamilyFolder the applicant's status will show 'Resume Declined by Administrator.'
Occasionally a nanny registration linked to your folder expires. These listings are indicated by the icon. Nanny registrations expire after 21 days. Nannies also remove their postings if they have accepted a job or are no longer actively looking. You may still view the data, however it may no longer be valid.
