About the "MyFolder" Feature

The 4nannies.com MyFolder is your contact management tool for your nanny job search process.

We utilize several icons in the MyFolder to facilitate the management of your contacts.

	Move to Inactive Contacts (Hide)		Family Contacted You
	Family Membership Expired.

Familys are added to the MyFolder in three ways:

• You contact the family via the RESPOND feature the online family profile. When you utilize the RESPOND feature, the family is sent an email indicating that you are interested in their job. The email includes a link back to your online profile. The family also receives whatever message you typed into the Send Message box. Simultaneously the family is added to your MyFolder.
• A family may respond to your online profile using a similar RESPOND feature. You will get an email indicating their interest, and they are added to your MyFolder. These families are differentiated by the icon.
• Occasionally a family or nanny may initiate contact via a telephone call. To track these contacts, from your MyFolder simply add the family to your list by typing the family's 4nannies.com ID number into the box provided.

The MyFolder does more than just track ID numbers. You can use the MyFolder to:

• Keep Notes on this Family. Simply click on the add a comment link to add and edit notes. Upon submittal they will appear nest to the family particulars in the MyFolder.
• View Family Advertisement. With just a single click on the view job detail link you can see all of the online information the Family has provided.
• Email the Family. Just click on the Send a message to..." link to send follow-up correspondence. You may choose from some prepared responses or enter your own message. The correspondence is sent and logged into your MyFolder.
• Hide Family Listing. Familys that are no longer under consideration can be easily removed from your folder. Simply click on the HIDE box to the left of the Family ID and click the Submit button at the bottom of the page. Changes are only effective when the Submit button has been clicked.

Occasionally a family posting linked to your folder expires. These listings are indicated by the icon. Family memberships expire, and families also remove their postings if they have staffed the job or are no longer actively looking. You may still view the data, however it may no longer be valid.
