FINDING A NANNY JOB WITH 4nannies.com
Please note that the 4nannies.com job application has extensive online help. Simply click on the help icon (that cute question mark) and a help screen will appear.
How do I apply for a job?
You must be LOGGED IN to your 4nannies.com account in order to contact families.
To log in, please supply your registered email address (or ID number)and password where prompted. When you are logged into our site and search open jobs you have the opportunity to respond - send the families a message. They get an email that includes a link back to your online application. Use the respond box to get their attention - you are attracted to infants, you would love to work in Manhattan, you love to work with multiples, whatever it is about their job that makes an impression on you.
- Log In to 4nannies.com. You can log in where indicated in the green site map box at left.
- Select
Search for a Family
- Complete the search form to narrow down the jobs to fit your needs and press Search.
- You will see Job Search Results. These are condensed versions of the family position description. Click on
View this job for complete details.
- All families will have a link
Send a Message to this Family to send an email. Some will publish their phone numbers. You are able to send pre-scripted messages or feel free to compose your own.
1. The family will be sent an email that includes your message and a link to your online application.
2. This family will be added to your MyFolder - this exclusive 4nannies.com feature lets you keep track of the families you have contacted and lets you easily follow up with them.

How do you protect my privacy? Do you publish all information?
We are glad you are thinking through these safety issues. 4nannies.com takes reasonable steps to protect you - however we caution you to take this seriously.
We do not collect or publish your Social Security Number: this should only be provided directly to a hiring family after all interviewing is done, your references have been checked, and the family has made you a written job offer.
We do not publish your address or date of birth
We do not publish your email address: Families and candidates email each other by clicking a link.
You have the option of listing your phone number. If your phone number is listed in the phone book, be aware there are other websites that can look up your address using your phone number. Many candidates post their unlisted cell phone numbers - this makes you easier to reach and still maintains anonymity.

How do I change information on my online application?
Your revised posting will be available to families within one business day.

A family sent me an email. How do I look them up?
You must be LOGGED IN to your 4nannies.com account in order to contact families.
There are several ways you can look up a family.
- Log In to 4nannies.com. You can log in where indicated in the green site map box at left. To log in, please supply your registered email address (or ID number)and password where prompted. You will redirect to the Nanny Member Dashboard.
- 4nannies.com protects your email address as well as the families. All mail will be from support@4nannies.com. You will find a link to the family's job posting in the email. Click the email link after logging in to bring up their profile

Search Jobs from the green site map box at left. Key the family ID number into the Quick Search box.

- All family contacts are logged in your My Folder (ACTIONS > MyFolder). You will find convenient links to the family's job posting, easy response links, and an
add a comment feature that allows you to keep private notes about the family contact.
If the family called you instead of using 4nannies.com's Respond feature there will be no record of this at 4nannies.com. It is important that you ask families who call you for their Family ID so you can look up the details of their job.

What is the FamilyMatch system and how does it work?
FamilyMatch is an automated notification of new* family job opportunities that match your critical job requirements. This feature will save you much time in searching for your new job - and perhaps make you aware of opportunities you might otherwise have missed.
The FamilyMatch program performs a daily search of eligible family job opportunities* and provides you with an email summary of any jobs that matched your search profile. You may update your search profile at any time. Simply log on to your 4nannies.com account and follow the ACTIONS > FamilyMatch link.
*Eligible jobs are jobs that have been either initially listed or relisted that day.
