THIS IS HOW IT WORKS ...

1.

APPLY FOR A NANNY JOB COMPLETE THE ONLINE REGISTRATION: You must be registered to apply for jobs.

2.

SEARCH AVAILABLE JOBS: New families register daily. Families pay a substantial fee and are serious about finding a great nanny for their family. You must be a registered nanny candidate AND logged into 4nannies.com to contact the family.

3.

APPLY FOR A JOB: You should be prepared to contact families directly. There are many more applicants than open jobs - make sure the family knows you are interested. Have questions? Review the online articles to learn more.

4.

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT: Easy! Log in. From the Member Dashboard you may Search Jobs, review your MyFolder of prior contacts, establish or modify your  FamilyMatch settings, inactivate or renew your posting and otherwise administer your account.

5.

WATCH YOUR E-MAIL: We will automatically notify you, based on your  FamilyMatch preferences, when a new family registers that matches your job requirements.

6.

HOW THE FAMILY CONTACTS YOU: Usually via e-mail, but occasionally a family will call you (if phone listed). Failure to respond to family inquiries may result in revocation of your membership.

DON'T BE AFRAID TO TELL A FAMILY (NICELY) IF THEIR JOB DOES NOT APPEAL TO YOU. FAMILIES ONLY WANT TO PURSUE SERIOUS CANDIDATES.

7.

YOUR MyFolder: Tool to help manage your job search. Access directly from the Member Dashboard.

8.

FOUND THE 'RIGHT' FAMILY? You should expect that the family will have a  background check run on you...after all you are going to have sole charge of their children! Please download and complete Release to Perform Background Investigation to facilitate this process.

9.

INSIST ON A  WRITTEN WORK AGREEMENT: This is your best protection to insure you and the family are in agreement on hours, wages, responsibilities, vacations and other important issues. LEARN MORE

10.

DELETE YOUR RESUME after you have found a job. This will keep you from getting calls and e-mails from prospective families when you are no longer available. Update Information > Remove Resume.
